Welcome to WR Hunt Club, a family owned and operated hunting preserve. The club owned by Bob and Betty Wright offers pheasant, chucker and quail hunting, a five stand target shoot with a 40 foot tower and a sporting clays course. Our lodge has a kitchen that is also open to the public and serves lunch on the weekends from 8:30-2p.m. September through May and also at other times by reservation. The lodge also has overnight accommodations for members and a Pro Shop with licenses and ammo.
We have bird hunting from September through March. Memberships are available with special rates for pheasant hunting, but non-members are welcome. Prices vary with hunt size so please give us a call at (419)547-8550 or Jamie’s cell phone at (419)656-4107.
Our Sporting Clays Course is open year round offering clay targets that whiz over natural cover and through the trees to simulate the flight of various game birds and animals. We have rounds of 50 shots for $20 or 100 shots for $35. We also offer a 5 stand tower shoot of 25 shots for $7. Our newest addition is a 3D archery course which has 30 Rinehart targets.
We are closed on Mondays, Christmas, Easter and New Year’s Day but look forward to seeing you on the weekends from 8am until 3pm and Tues.—Friday by appointment. Our hours sometimes depend on the weather so we suggest calling ahead.
